In order to continue to guarantee the highest quality and precision, Früh Verpackungstechnik relies on the digital measuring projector from Keyence. This state-of-the-art device replaces traditional analog measurement and offers numerous advantages. For example, it completely eliminates operator influence. This saves us time and at the same time ensures optimum process reliability.

The measuring projector precisely measures the length, width and height of an object — such as the cavities of a blister or the dimensions of a pouch. Compliance with tolerance values is particularly important, e.g. for the sealing seams of a closure. The precise measurement technology ensures that no deviations are overlooked.

Technical highlights of the measuring projector:

  • Measuring accuracy: ± 0.005 mm
  • Repeat accuracy: ± 0.001 mm
  • Measuring range: 30020085 mm (extendable up to 600 mm in the X‑axis)
  • Simultaneous measurement of several blisters
  • Light and height sensor for precise diameter and height measurements
  • Easy programming
  • Easy integration into the laboratory thanks to compact design and integrated sensors for temperature and humidity
  • Low documentation effort with full audit trail and traceability
  • This device ensures that our customers, including Genentech, benefit from accurate and validated processes without operator influence. The measurement projector is therefore an essential component of process validation.
